Moon bounties seem the fastest and easiest method to farm XP. Grab them all including the ones you buy, run a lost sector....rinse and repeat. I'm currently at rank 120 or so on the seasonal battle pass.

With just the season pass only I don't think you can pick up any bounties from Eris Morn. At least I can't. It's always has said that I need to buy Shadowkeep.

I didn't know it was even possible to own the season pass without Shadowkeep. In that case doing the same thing with Vanguard bounties is a tad slower but you can do the same thing in strikes.

Oh I agree with the bounties. I'm at rank 108 and don't play as much as I used to.
