Try unplugging your PS4 from power and leave it unplugged for at least 5 minutes. I would also suggest doing the same with your modem and router (if separate from the modem). This will clear any corrupted caches.

  • Well after I factory reset PS4 and downloaded the game again it seems to be working I am however still getting audio lag and slippage but the game itself seems to be working fine minus the audio glitches. I also did the unplug for 8 minutes just to be safe so either the factory reset or the cache clear at least made the game playable again

  • Is the audio being output to TV speakers, separate speakers, or a headset?

  • It was a HDD issue I replaced the old with a new SSD and the game runs way smoother then before no Audio issues.

  • I'm fairly tech savvy and I've tried my surround sound my TV speakers and my steel series wireless headset they all do it so it's likely some minor corruption in the game or HDD somewhere but the game itself is working fine I have a replacement HDD arriving tomorrow
