I love Smash, but I hardly think it deserves that title. Oh well.

Having the title doesn’t mean it deserved it. There are a lot of fighters that deserve more. Tekken, Skullgirls, BlazBlue, SamSho, etc. Smash got the highest sales because it has the most casual appeal.

Best selling means it has sold the most in it's category. Not best game in it's category. So you saying others deserve it more is kinda moot due to them selling less

I know that. But as I said having the title doesn’t mean it deserves it. In theory, the best game is the one that deserves the most sales. Thus, imo, the other games I mentioned deserve it more, even though they don’t have the title.
