It’s definitely the Twins from Terraria. And or Plantera. Skeletron prime is way cool but would be better if it had more lasers and chainsaws.
English
-
The twins have got to be the hardest out of all the mechanical bosses. The game even tells you so because they share the same music as Wall of Flesh
-
I actually find them to be the easiest. Destroyer’s hardest for me.
-
Really? Destroyer is easiest for me. Screw skeleton prime.
-
Mr. Skellyman isn’t too tough if you pick off his claw & laser. His bombs are pretty much useless with a standard platform arena, and his saw should rarely hit you if you’re moving around well enough. For Twins it starts really tough, but gets a lot easier once the fiery one’s gone. Though, Mr. Pew Pew laser eyes can deal some right good damage if you’re careless. But the Destroyer? Just lasers, lasers everywhere. Lasers, and metal teeth, and death, with the most HP out of the lot of them. Of course, your playstyle probably affects it. What class do you use?
-
I use a mix of melee and range until I'm post plantera, then I go mage.
-
Ah, that’s probably why then. I go pure mage from beginning to end.
-
Yeah, I swap over once I get spectre gear with the healing capabilities. Its just so powerful. Especially in solo play.
-
I actually usually don’t use healing mode. I’ll usually use the Spectre Mask and rely on health potions. Of course, I keep both on me, and when things get really dire I switch over, but I’d say a good 80%-90% of the time I’m going for the higher damage output.
-
I just like feeling completely unkillable, plus I also try to take damage since I use celestial cuffs to get mana back instead of potions.
-
I also use the Celestial Cuffs for the most part. Against horde modes enemies drop enough mana stars that I don’t need to worry, thanks to the increased pickup range. But against bosses I usually have a mana regeneration potion active, among others, so that’s not an issue. I like to swap out my mana cuffs for a mage emblem during boss fights, actually.
-
I mostly use razor pine so I can be close taking and dealing heavy damage to heal myself and regen mana. I just find it to be a more fun playstyle for me. But I do use the high damage output on moon lord since healing doesn't work.
-
I use Razorpine as well. Against larger targets, like bosses, you don’t need to be close. Against smaller targets, like horde modes, you can rip through them with the Spectre Mask before they can even touch you. With the exception of the Solar Pillar. I do need the Hood there. I do eventually swap Razorpine for the Razorblade Typhoon, though. That thing’s damage output is insane, and it’s homing to boot.
-
Yeah, the typhoon is nice, but I prefer the razor pine because it heals you better with the mask I use. And if i do need seeking, I usually use the bat scepter because of the better healing.
-
I can’t say I agree. I heal waay faster with a good Typhoon shot. If I really need healing, though, Nebula Glove is the way to go.
-
I use last pyramid once I get it. I find razorpine to do more consistent healing though. Typhoon is cool but i prefer razorpine. Since absolutely ape bosses pretty much every razor hits and it does super quick dps.
-
What about Nebula Blaze, though? It’s not great for Moon Lord, but I find it gives the most DPS, and by extension most healing, against most things? The big drawback is its mana cost, but if you’re damage boosting the mana anyway, that shouldn’t matter?
-
I use last prism once I get to that stage. The beam is just so awesome, but I haven't played post moon lord stuff in a while so I dont really remember what I used for it all.
-
But you get Nebula Blaze before beating the Moon Lord. You make it out of Void fragments.
-
Oh I guess, I just know that I somehow got last prism before the nebula blaze. I seem to have a preference to hight rate of fire weapons too.
-
That’s why I’m surprised you haven’t mentioned it. It’s got a high rate of fire, too. I guess it’s possible to skip over it, but I don’t see why you would. :o
-
Oh, I must have skipped over it. In my first clear of the pillars event I beat moon lord and got last prism, so I guess I just didnt have the necessity to craft it or something.
-
Oh, yeah, it does take 2-3 runs. Did you cheese him, or did you beat him in a straight up fight your first win?
-
I had the nurse near me and used her a lot, plus I only had pc the first time I beat him so the controls were a bit better than the mobile ones. Sadly though when I got a new phone, my characters that were ready for cultist/moonlord were lost and I now need to restart my characters and worlds.
-
But no runways or anything? Nurse is a bit cheap, but that’s still impressive! I managed to beat him once—no nurse or runways—but only once. He’s not a fun enough fight for me to want to keep trying.
-
No runway, a lot of preparation, a good arena, good modifiers and a nurse near me in case I'm about to die.
