Teleport to another tower...
perhaps you could join the void...
Edited by epicperon: 10/14/2019 11:31:55 PMThe tower I’m on is the only one in the volcano place where the Divine Beast is. All the others are far
-
Yea that’s my point, if you can’t get off normally then just teleport to the other ones...
perhaps you could join the void...
-
Edited by epicperon: 10/14/2019 11:37:42 PMThen what? See that’s the issue. The game should tell me, not someone on the internet
-
It says somewhere in the game, I’ve beat it before... Pretty sure you need special fire res potions, you buy em from some guy then use them to get to the Goron city before buying the proper armour to survive without potions...
perhaps you could join the void...
-
Yeah the game says nothing about that. It says “free the Divine Beasts” and has a waypoint for each beast
-
No not the waypoint, I mean somewhere it tells you that you need the potions to get the armour...
perhaps you could join the void...
-
Hasn’t told me that. I killed a Guardian, climbed the tower with my health constantly draining, and that’s it. My objectives just say the same thing
-
Have you been talking to people? A lot of NPCs tell you how to get up the mountain.
-
I haven’t encountered any npcs besides a Guardian and a bunch of those little cyclops bat things I can’t remember the name of
-
Are you noy following the roads?
-
I ended up leaving the roads due to a series of hidden shrines. Now when I try to go back to the roads my health drains.
-
Well, there were loads of people on the roads that’d tell you to stay away from the volcano without fire resistant potions. Sounds like you took an unfortunate wrong turn.
-
Edited by epicperon: 10/15/2019 12:44:15 AMI wouldn’t call it unfortunate. I found a Guardian, 2 shrines and a Korok seed. I just wish the game would’ve warned me with an objective instead of having me talk to easily missable npcs
-
Yea as Aidos said, there were many npc’s that told you... I just couldn’t remember where I heard it from myself...
perhaps you could join the void...
-
I can’t say I agree with you there. I’ve got a plethora of issues with BotW, but I am 100% okay with the game letting go of my hand, and letting me figure stuff out, even if that results in me burning to death. That being said, I think climbing ruins the game somewhat. If you couldn’t climb over every wall then you couldn’t get to Death Mountain without passing by those NPCs.
-
Well I like structure in my games. Having to learn something by dying repeatedly isn’t fun. That’s exactly why I got triggered at Dark Souls.
-
I wouldn’t call trial & error learning systems “without structure”, but I get what you’re saying. I can’t say I agree, but I do get it.
-
I don’t remember where it says that but it for sure said it somewhere, like not in the quests but somewhere else...
perhaps you could join the void...
