Wonderful! Just what we need, 9 of our subs are currently engaging a leviathan at home base, we can't bring back our other subs full of civilians with that beast in the way. Is there anything you can do?! Comment to Nil!

Alrighty then! Your fleet of subs emerge from their docks and move towards the city! Suddenly, a sub in the back is grabbed by a massive claw! From the depths, a Leviathan emerges! An immense abomination of tentacles and claws! [spoiler]I may have planned for this :)[/spoiler]

BROTHERS! THE ENEMY IS AT OUR DOOR! I want 10 subs to stay here and DESTROY whatever that tentacle belongs to! The rest of you know my orders, save as many as possible and drop them off at the Golden keep when you've reached maximum occupancy [spoiler]btw, I was chatting with Ringewrath77 and he's kinda in my sub. Don't engage Nil! Alert all active coms of her location, we can't win this alone but perhaps someone else in this blood sea can As for the kraken I want you to fire for the squishy bits! Crack it open like a tender lobster dinner!

*Leviathan. Krakens are much smaller! This big boi is Godzilla sized mega beast! Your subs fire upon the Leviathan aiming for its many eyes and the openings between its thick shell! You feel its roar reverberate through your sub even from this distance as it closes the claw against the trapped sub and shreds it! Four tentacles rise from the depths attempting to grapple more subs! Meanwhile, your fleet enters the city! The waters are rough, but calm enough to surface and rescue civilians!

Golden keep this is your Primarch speaking, send in the suicide salt miner's and drop them right outside our door. Let's see what the leviathan thinks of the snack that bites back! As for the rest of you! Swarm the leviathan, if we can't kill it then we can sure as hell confuse it. And don't stop firing

Do you mind if I use dice for the damage the Leviathan takes and its attacks against your subs? I'm used to d&d so I made a simple system I use for events here.

Sure that's not a problem at all, although I will admit I've never actually played d and d before. I have a small inkling on how it works but nothing substantial

I'm just rolling a d20 and if they go above a certain number it's a hit. For the subs damage I'm rolling it twice and adding it up for each sub, and for the Leviathan it's to grab a sub first and then to crush it! Because its big... So it looks something like this: 9 subs attack! 4 hit weak spots and 5 harmlessly strike the thick shell plates! They deal 79 damage! The Leviathan makes 4 grapple attempts and grabs 2 subs! It has to wait until the next turn to attempt to smash! If you want I can play the rest of that battle out in the background while you enter the city. I'm leaving for work in a bit though so I may go silent.

It's kinda just a mindless dude from the rest of the Destiny forum that just causes chaos As for the ships they can't do anything at the moment without dropping the civilians off at the Golden keep. But because of the leviathan they'll have to sit and wait, killing any sharks that come close

Oh there's more than just sharks in these waters! A trio of krakens appear and attack the sub formation!

The 40 subs hold their ground firing everything they have at the krakens while sending a distress signal to everyone in the area

Two of the kraken are obliterated but the third latches onto the nearest sub!

Nooo! A voice crys from a distance. An armor clad battle brother hops out of his sub and jets towards the kraken engaging it in hand to claw combat, more then willing to sacrifice his life

It swings at him with tentacles! Meanwhile, a few of the civilians on board the subs attempt to sneak away from the main crowd...

Huzzah beast! I was sent by the Adepteaus Offtopic to help fight against you...but I would appreciate it if you could fill me in on what is happening before we go to The brawling, is that ok?

Had to work but I resolved the Leviathan fight in my spare time. 4 subs survived before driving the beast back to the depths.
