Are you doing the Ordeal nightfall? Those dont count. You have to do the normal nightfalls that lock you equipment. I'm guessing you're hunting for the Truth Exotic. I had this issue too.

No problem. I ran into the same issue. I'm on the TRUTH quest too. Last part I have to complete before doing the stike.
