No. The point of a clan is to get to k own the people you play with. 100 is already to much

it's 100 people with actively intermingling groups. its not too many, it's a community growing and thriving with actives that are always <24h offline.
-
And how does an increase hurt you exactly? You may keep playing with the same people you play with now if you wish. 100 is very limited compared to many other games.

I think 100 is more than enough. Use Xbox groups to coed instead between sub clans or alliance of clans.

Edited by Trax: 10/8/2019 8:37:02 PMIt doesn't hurt me but the only reason people are asking for an increase is because they are a guild leader that gets some twisted joy out of being in "power" of lots of people online. It's like a collection for them. I know their type. They care less about actually playing the game and more about getting some power trip by having lots of people in a guild. Nobody knows and plays with everyone in a 100 person clan. If you can show me some other benefit for increasing the limit to 200, I'll listen but I haven't heard it yet.

Certainly those types of leaders are out there, but it's not all of them, and it's definitely not a reason I am for increasing the cap. Some things to consider about clans and their members: - not everyone may live in the same time zone - more generally, not everyone may be able to be online at the same time due to various reasons (work, school, other hobbies, events, responsibilities in life) - not everyone may want to play the same activity (or, may not even be ABLE to, due to differing light levels, gear requirements and/or skill levels) - sometimes, there are those who aren't even looking to group up because they only have time for some quick solo activities, or just want to run around doing more mundane things - not everyone is actively watching our discord chat for opportunities to group or recruit all the time, some events are planned, but many are spontaneous as well All of those things mean a 100 person clan (even if everyone is active at least once a day) gets split up into different sections of the day when they can be on, and then split up further based on what activities everyone is doing or wants to do, and then split up AGAIN based on who actually is grouping up and who just wants to chill out solo. This takes those 100 and quickly whittles down the number of them active at any given time. My clan is currently maxed out, consisting of members from the U.S. coast to coast, as well as European regions. It's almost 4pm PST and I have 16 members online, and 87 of them have been online within the last 3 days. That may increase to 20 or so in a couple of hours, but they're all doing different things - some PvPing, some doing patrols, others in Vex Offensive, etc. Due to the reasons I listed above, only some of those 16 (maybe half) are able and willing to group together for an activity or two. That's not a big pool or players to choose from. You might think 100 players should be more than enough but this is the reality of clans, and having members with varying responsibilities and varying available time, across different time zones. Unless you run a strict clan of members all in the same time zone with no responsibilities outside of gaming, you're likely going to experience what I've described. Increasing the clan limit enlarges that pool of available players, which helps to increase the helpfulness and enjoyment of any clan - it's really as simple as that. Nothing to do with a power grab. I hope that all makes sense.
