After 5 yrs they are just beginning to evolve their game?? 5yr long beta test? I just find it funny he called it an MMO, I couldn't give shit other than to point out he certainly couldn't call it a looter shooter because there hardly loot! But that is one hell of an upgrade economy they came up with, wow!

He has stated that they are transitioning from a FPS/Looter into a MMO/Looter. They have always wanted to do this, since D1, but Activision wanted a more casual, arena-style shooter with Borderlands looting aspects. SK is their first piece of Acti-free content, and with all the other massive overarching changes they made, its no surprise that the MMO shift is incremental

As I replied to someone else earlier, this is what a small ~600 employee studio with no publishing company backing has done in a few months: ----- 1. Made 90% of the game free to play, including overhauling UIs and mission selection to make a streamlined F2P experience for new guardians 2. Pushed through a massive DLC with a revamped moon and full seasonal content to follow 3. Enabled cross-save, a hugely expensive and difficult process 4. Re-designed the game as an MMO to re-define the Destiny universe 5. Moved the entire PC community from Battlenet to Steam, another massive, expensive undertaking 6. Revamed and upgraded servers to handle an influx of players that has made the Destiny franchise the #2 best-selling FPS franchise behind CoD (surpassing Battlefield and Halo), and the #7 best-selling franchise ever, with only TWO games 7. Reworked much of the in-game economy and delivered Armor 2.0 I think you can forgive them for only having the Dreambane set, new exotics, and ritual weapons as new loot so far. And I suffer no delusions, as I merely stated facts straight from Bungie, no opinions of my own

it also indicates they are not as broke as you make out to be. None of the things you have mentioned is done in 6 months. They have incorporated parts they were working on further into a new system. You are simply glorifying things that they have cchose to do on their own and present it like they were gifts to the players. They chose to sign a contract with Activision, and they separated by their own will. You clearly never seen a massive DLC Considering no vendor refreshes and loot drought, as a game developer, it is their job to bring new armors and guns which they have been neglecting most of D2 to begin with. 90% of the game is free play for only new players. Players like me have already paid for the base game, and all DLC and season passes. How is that free for existing players? They have done good things here and there but glorifying simple things what makes them get lazy day by day

Lol, omg Small indie studio. Transitioning because Activision is a bad guy. Redoing so much, all that reskinning, they must be exhausted. Ridiculously small amount of content, and it always will be my friend, don't forget they are also removing content. Unbelievably punishing upgrade system, and btw Armour 2.0 is just armour D1 combined with Armour D2, simply to drive play time of over used, over played content. And this will also haven quickly with shadow keep. I could go on but I admit defeat, long live the BDF!

Actually you are the delusional sheep bot, poor guy. I am using logic and just because my 2+2 doesn't equal your 2+2, I'm illogical and receive the default BDF endgame. Go and play another game if you don't like it. Your logic is nothing but a list of excuses, and their transitioning is nothing more than absolutely exploiting their player base for the maximum amount of coin they can muster. Unlike let's say studios like From, capcom, gunfire, etc.... Poor bungie. Can't be too hard on them, Activision really held them down. Lol Enjoy
