Another controversy with Modern Warfare

A leak supposedly revealed that there is going to be a loot box mechanic that has weapons locked behind it. And knowing Activision, who wants to get people to buy as many of these as they can, those weapons are probably going to be pretty broken. Just like how it was in Black Ops 3 and 4.
[spoiler]This may just be me, but honestly why buy the game at this point? It certainly doesn’t seem like it’s going to be any less garbage than the past few CoDs. Why feed Activision’s greed and scumminess? I’ll never buy a CoD game again because of this shit[/spoiler]

I had great hopes for this game and then it downhill from there. I remember enjoying blops3 for a while until you were able to buy supply drops with real money. It seems to get only worse from here on out.

I’ve only ever bought one CoD game in my life, and I don’t see that changing now. I’m not really a fan of FPS games, and CoD is kinda mediocre comared to other FPS gamds. I have to give them credit where credit’s due, though. The good Zombies maps (namely Origins) are some of the best horde mode things out there.

I played the beta and the gameplay was really fun, netcode left a bit to be desired. But guns in loot-boxes are a 100% no-go for me, unless they can be unlocked outside of the system like Infinite Warfare.

I went from being excited for Modern Warfare to not even buying it anymore. Activision just continues to kill Call of Duty and anger the fanbase every single year. The funny thing too is that if you play any of the older games, they're infested with hackers that will reset your stats or simply make the game unplayable. Activision lets them do this freely and refuses to fix the older games because they would rather us buy the new shit and microtransactions.
