Oh, I know what's going on now. Like with the Outbreak Perfected Catalyst, you have to complete the objectives first before you can even slot the Catalysts in. I couldn't remember ever getting it on my account and I didn't look hard enough. I was just doing once-overs on the exotics and looked to see if it had a kill counter on it or not. Though I am still confused about the sword drops. I thought one should've dropped from that run. Thank you for the fast reply though. I definitely feel a bit more at ease now.

This is a pretty old post. lol To get the catalyst, you must complete Heroic Menagerie while you have a fully upgraded Chalice of Opulence in your inventory. You must also own Izanagi's Burden. If you met the requirements, just in case, check your Izanagi's Burden and see if the catalyst is there when you highlight the slot.
