(Smash Ultimate) Would you be fine with more Fire Emblem reps if they weren’t sword users?
I know we have a lot of FE reps already, but so far all of them are sword users, with a lot of them echoes. What do you guys think about adding some non-sword users in the mix? There are so many of them that are so cool.

But with the sheer cast size of Ultimate and FE becoming bigger in western countries this decade, non-sword reps would be pretty cool. Still think they should’ve removed Midna as an assist trophy so we could have Midna and Wolf Link as a playable character though.

I don't get what it is with all the FE character. I mean, I get that a lot of people like the games, but is it really necessary to have so many characters come from the same game franchise???

6 RepliesI think Fire Emblem has had enough representation in the game. Let new characters to the franchise get a shot. Like Ryu Hyabusa from Ninja Gadin or Crash Bandicute (I'm sure I'm butchering the name) or even Spyro would be awesome to play as along with adding all new combat mechanics to use.

As long as the characters are good, I don’t really care which game they come from. I do think there are enough basic sword characters though.

9 RepliesNo. FE has enough represetation in Smash, I’d rather them either; A. Add in more rep for an already included franchise that doesn’t have as much B. Endorse a few smaller, or lesser known franchises.

I'm fine with more Fire Emblem heroes in general. After all, it's not like I have any say in the matter. But, I would like for them to step away from Fire Emblem a bit and bring more characters from the franchises that are already present.
