Not that there would be a solid month of not being able to purchase the game for pc.

Twab states, “On September 3, Destiny 2 game content and Destiny 2 Silver will no longer be available for purchase on the Battle.net shop. PC players who wish to play Destiny 2 before October 1 have until the September 3 deadline to make their purchase on Battle.net. From that point on, Destiny 2 game purchases for PC will be available only from the Steam Store product page.”
