I think the "evolving world" is a seasonal thing, not a weekly thing. If you miss a whole season, that's on you.

I did miss Uldren's resurrection because bungie decided you experimenti with "you have to be there" yeah my ass!

I also missed out on the Uldren cutscene. Not because of my lack of desire to play the game, but because I was in the Navy and currently on a deployment. I missed out on something that was really cool because my job required me to be away. While the evolving world is a cool idea, there are players that will unfortunately miss out on cool game modes or experiences because life and work responsibilities occur and I dont believe Bungie devs have taken these things into account.
