*I draw Excalibur (I know, a surprising move, right?) to shed a dim aura of light, and make my way to the temple.*
I should go there and meet up with people, then go out and find something. We won’t get any information by sitting around here.

You begin making your way towards the source of the bells. The storm reduces your visibility to a few feet ahead of you, but through the snow you see humanoid figures approaching you with unnatural, jerking movements.

*I continue towards the church, but stop and look at the figure.* Hello? Who might you be?

(*figures, plural) The closest emerges from the storm before you. He appears to be a man covered in thorny vines, his eyes replaced by two red roses. He smiles and reaches towards you! [i]"Join us!"[/i]

Anyways onto attacking, and fighting lee at the same time.[/spoiler] *I slash the sword out in a half circle, trying to see if I can hit as many as I can. Statistically wise I am using my battlemaster superiority die to use sweeping attack.* [spoiler]Nat 20 to hit.[/spoiler] *Then I turn my shoulders and push forward with the shield to knock the one on front back. Doing this with my bonus action and shield master feat.* [spoiler]Being completely honest that Is another bat 20, but that’s boring so I’ll reroll that. 4+10 to strength, 14! [/spoiler]

I light it and point it at the ground, firing a live firework at the vines on my arm and myself.* Time to light you up vine people. This party just got explosive. [spoiler]16 to hit but disadvantage for being within 5 feet and it being a literal firework launcher, so 14. Buuuut I may get inspiration or the pun...[/spoiler]

Well good thing I’m wearing plate mail. *I do a simple stop drop and roll to get the fire out, brush the ash off of me and reload the cannon, then continue onward, looking for anything else I might find.*

You emerge from the storm onto the sacred ground of the Temple of Bernthal. The Prophet Xronad the Xombie stands on the steps surrounded by the bodies of beasties, battle axe in hand. He greets you, bowing humbly whist flexing mightily, and invites you to assist him in defending the Temple until the others arrive! [spoiler]I'm planning to start the boss fight in an hour or so after I get some food and take care of some real life things. I might just run it late into the night depending on other peoples time frames[/spoiler]

Fantastic! I could use some practice right now. *I draw a revolver, putting Excalibur away.* And I need to practice my sheriffs skills anyways, I’ve been training to fight a few people in a more range based combat. [spoiler]Ok, got it. I will actually be leaving for a couple of hours in a hour, so I won’t be able to participate in the boss fight, or at least the beginning of it.[/spoiler]

How many couple hours? I might take a longer break to rest my wrists... theyre a bit sore from all the typing and im worried about overdoing it
