Remove Exotics From Season Pass/Battlepass
Having exotics in the paid tier of the season pass is super risky, if its better than the other season exotics then it feels like you have to pay to have a chance, if its worse than other exotics it will feel like to wasted your money, simple solution, dont put exotics in the pass, of all things exotics should forever stay as a gameplay reward that just randomly drops, the only exception being exotic quests which are fine as even though paid season owners get the weapon faster, non paid owners still get the quest 25 tiers in.

One rank can be obtained in an hour if you run strikes (bungie reported the sample times they were using for strike grinding assumed you spend about 18 minutes per strike, which btw is suuuuuper slow.), among other activities as well. 3. The exotic they mentioned was available at lvl 25 of the free pass. 4. Even if you don’t get the exotic, bungie has confirmed it will be added to the regular loot pool post season. ...So you’re telling me you’re unwilling to spend time playing ANYTHING in the game over the 10 weeks that the season will last? I’m not sure what the problem is.

How is it worse than having exotics, or exotic quests behind the paywall of the annual pass, exactly? I see no difference.

Only have exotics on the purchaseable battle pass. They’re not gonna put weapons in auto verse and if I’m going to support the game for freeloaders then I should get the special stuff

This is my main issue with the pass. Exotics should t just be handed out to people, it takes away and excitement about getting exotic drops I knew it was coming though, it's fear of missing out and bungie hope everyone jumps on the pass the get them quick, I'm sorry but micros are just greedy in a full priced game, specially one that has dlc every 3 months

Hey, I paid $35 for Shadowkeep. I now get it at rank 1. But I wish it gave me a non timegated quest and didn’t just say “here you go”. That takes the fun out of getting it.

It’s literally the same thing as what we have now. You paid to get access to The Last Word, Truth, the Black Armory Exotics, Thorn, and more. The same applies to this. If anything they’re giving those who don’t purchase it more to do than what they have now.

Sniper performance with the handling of a HC? Easiest cheese in my life. I bet they'll nerf it after "f2p" players start getting their hands on it. Clearly not pay to win. Clearly not toxic to a major gamemode. Clearly not a lazy excuse to dumb down your looter shooter.

1 ReplyI agree the I paid for it so I get it day one is pure trash. The moment the pay to win exotic is top tier in pve or pvp Bungie will basically be forcing you to pay.

The exotic handcannon is availbe to people who don't spend a dime, just that they have to reach rank 24 or something before they get it. The bow is the only current exotic we know of directly tied to having to level up your current season pass rank in order to access the quest. I don't think people will be giving up truth or wardcliff so easily for a bow.

3 Repliesi think its fine to put exotic quests in the season pass, just like any other dlc or season keeping exotics locked behind a paywall. My problem is having a new exotic drop almost immediately for those who bought the season. Its better if bungie sticks with pay to play, where buying the season lets you earn the exotic by playing, not handing it out.
