What balance exactly are you looking for? Did Bungie release some sort of matchmaking fix that pairs you according to how many people are in your fireteam?
I'm genuinely asking, because you are complaining about loading into a team based mode solo and being matched up against a team.

Unless they create another solo queue for players, the problems you're facing will never be solved, regardless of what type of matchmaking (SBMM, for example) options Bungie attempts to use.
