It will return . And yes maybe it will eventually lead to be guided by your progress but phasing content out so that new content can be phased in is the logical way since it simply can’t grow too much in the future anyway

Agreed I have a friend who just came back to Destiny after being absent shortly after Shattered Throne first came up. The amount of existing content that he has available to play was a little overwhelming to say the least. All the exotic quests, unlocking forges, Menagerie, Raids, pinnacle weapons, gambit and reckoning. He didn't know where to start. Yes it will be disappointing at first if they phase out content, but they did say it could return and drops from said content will move to other locations to be acquired. So its not like they're making so you cant get something. Catering to Streamers and seeming like content creators are the BIG voices that only Bungie listens to. Sure, i can see how they have big influence on the state of the game. But twitter is free, so try @ one of the community managers sometime to express your thoughts. (Nothing harsh, negative and demeaning. Keep it constructive feedback)

i know both sides of the equation.. on my warlock main i have done everything apart from some pinnacle weapons that i do not chase like the hush or the luna/NF.. when i switch to my titan my screen flashes like a chirstmas tree since i havent done much of those adventures, location quests or exotic quests since i dont see the need to do them twice or three times.. so its a bit weird to have this completely empty map on my main and then that totally crowded map on my second and third char.. and i have at leats played the campaign on those chars.. so that stopped flashing .
