It's an interesting tidbit for sure.
I have to say however that if they are talking about Uldrin and Mara? They are cleaved by time and space.
Mara is able to travel freely throughout the curse while Uldrin is continually being revived on the third week. You notice that while the awoken that are alive understand that there is a curse they are doomed to keep repeating the same actions.
Where's mara? She's in contact with the exo stranger and met at the same time you met on Venus taking about how the vex. The stranger turns , walks away and says to hold their position while she boards their ship. This is believed to be mara and stranger in cahoots.
So yea - time (uldren in the curse) and space (they are each in a different timeline/ universe).

<Uldren isn't being resurrected over and over. The Loop seems to have this weird effect over certain creatures. Those with Darkness repeat the same thing over and over for the sake of the Curse, yet they don't seem to remember anything. The Awoken must do things but remember the last time it happened. We regain memory and have full control over our actions. Uldren Sov put a crack in the Loop by removing his body from it.>

Edited by Necrogen: 8/13/2019 12:14:14 PMCan you explain how he removed his body from it? are you trying to say that the curse didn't retroactively affect him? He is part light and part darkness even if he is a guardian. also Petra venj shows that she understands that the curse is constantly repeating itself. She's just not sure how to break the curse.

<If Uldren was still affected by the Loop then so would every Awoken Guardian that went there. We aren't the only ones who go to the DC you know. He is no longer under its influence.>
-
Edited by Necrogen: 8/13/2019 3:22:05 PMI'm not sure about that one. See the whole thing about having an awoken guardian? Maybe that's the part that isn't canon. Do we have lortabs that implied Aldrin is out in the system currently? Anything from the new menagerie armor pieces? I thought there was something written about old German speaking to another awoken Denison and his personality and Demeanor are completely different. if this is a depiction after the fact then I believe that your theory is proven true.

<There has been nothing on Uldren since he was resurrected. However, our Guardian's race and gender isn't written in stone. If you're Awoken, the Light prevents you from being stuck in the Loop.>

Edited by Necrogen: 8/13/2019 3:45:21 PMThis is speaking outside of the game. I don't think the devs want our guardian to be stuck in the time loop. remember in D2 vanilla when we lost our light? We were able to go into The Crucible and shoot other guardians. I don't think they wanted that to be part of lore that we were now just killing one another. Ghosts need to resurrect us yet we did not get our light back yet at the time in the story. So again yes your theory may be correct.

Uldren isn’t getting revived over and over. Would he be a normal Awoken, he would indeed be part of the curse. But since he was revived as Guardian, he is unaffected by the curse, just like our Guardian, and any other Guardian for that matter. Our Light and paracausality allow us to traverse the Dreaming City freely. And if we count alternate timelines, then anyone could be cleaved by time and space, since everyone has a counterpart in some timeline.

Oh yeah that's right guardians are not affected by it. Even as I just wrote that though, what if then? We haven't seen Uldrin leave. What if there was something unexplained that kept him in the time loop? The second paragraph though part of the theory that you posted doesn't hold much water. They're always be parallel examples and patterns to connect the dots and you're going to come up with very few answers even though time and space affects everyone

I guess that’s fair. It’s spinfoily for sure. I guess we haven’t learned more about Guardian Uldren because that’s not the story Bungie wants to tell right now, at least that’s how it seems from what we’ve heard from them.
