What is your detailed opinion on those who use gimmicks to stand out in forums?

Well my gimmick is to be myself and post my stories but mostly be yourself and don't lie and if bring yourself is using a gimmick than it would work.

Being yourself isn't exactly a gimmick though, there's no trick or tactic involved. Those who speak in third person, for example. There's no real need to do that, so why do that other than to stand out? And if its to stand out, why?

What do you mean by that, explain more. I'll lend up replying in the morning so need sleep for work.

In this context I'm asking about the people here. Who you associate with, do you like them? Do you have people you dislike- why? Do you think some people are trying too hard? Do you think there should be more logical RP's, or more whimsical? Do you feel political topics are too much, and should be prohibited? What about bait topics- how many times will someone say something related to Destiny, but the topic being about something entirely different?
