None of your alternative options are “fun” either. Just say you want everything to be easier to get within the hour of release and keep it moving 🙄

  • You're right. It's just a year-end celebration. It doesn't feel like a celebration. It just feels like a repetitive, boring chore. The only way to actually make this fun would be to make a new series of missions to complete that you get the gear of at the end of each one. Not repeating old missions on a harder difficulty but new missions. That would be fun. Instead, I offered a simplified series of steps to just get some new gear at the end of the year while also creating incentives to play the new EAZ beyond tedious armor steps.

If you’re not having fun in a VIDEO GAME, then simply don’t play it. Or just play a different part of the game and don’t worry about getting a purely cosmetic armor. It’s not forced on you, it’s optional, it doesn’t affect your gameplay with or without it. “Fun” is subjective, I’ve been playing non stop for 10 hours now and I’m having fun. Go do something else if you’re not enjoying yourself.

  • Already did stop. Already looking forward to the games that are, more than likely, going to pull many of the remaining players of this game away entirely. I'd just like it to actually be fun. There's a grind and then there's whatever D2 is. Even the most loyal people I'd ever seen of this game just seem to be over it. People I never thought I'd see be giving Bungie a lotta crap about their game, mechanics and where things are going. It's just upsetting that this game has tons of potential and none of it realized. You do everything once... Then you do them the rest of your playtime. There's no real progression for characters. Everybody feels same-y. Nothing's new or improved but just more same-y stuff added to pad it out. This event's no different. I'm glad you're having fun. Really, I am as I know there are still some that do. You can't deny the number of people who have completely stopped playing this game nor the gripes from those who are trying to stick with it but feel like nothing is changing except for the menu for Eververse. It is frustrating and it could be better. It just isn't. So it's upsetting.

  • Yup. I do. Because in the rare times I do start to play D2 again, it gets boring quick. I want it to be better. Bungie just wants it to have more microtransactions. As I said, it's upsetting to see a game with such potential have none of it realized. I want it to be good, to be fun, but it just isn't and so many original diehards of the game are over it. It's a sucky feeling.
