Sure but even if they are stafing, a bolt or two can still land. Id say 45m will consistently kill with that roll.
Sure but even if they are stafing, a bolt or two can still land. Id say 45m will consistently kill with that roll.
Yeah I CAN spin in a circle firing sweet business and get kills too. You know what kills consistently at 45m+ with no charge time? A lot of rolls on a lot of snipers. All I’m pointing out here is that personal experience based on watching a YouTube video or shooting your bud standing still in a private match doesn’t have anything to do with what actually happens in all the games being played all day worldwide.

My friend got that roll from Banshee and I had him test it yesterday. He consistently got OHK from 40 to 45 meters against a strafing hunter at 8 mobility with Stompees. He was strafing while ADS and other times he was not. Even got mapped while sprinting. Happy now? Not standing still.

Does he know how to use a sniper rifle? Like none of this private match firing range data means jack shit in game.

Edited by Wes: 7/28/2019 9:33:49 PMAh. So you want us to test the weapon under the assumptions that everyone will be strafing or moving in some form AND that everyone will be using a sniper? Yeah. That doesn't represent the Crucible at all. You had a point at wanting the targets to move. That makes sense. Most people won't just stand there. They will strafe while firing their weapon or run away. We tested both and the results were above. But now that the results don't match your desired outcome, you want the target to snipe as well? Quite a biased analysis really. Not everyone will be sniping. And also, if the counter to a low skill gap fusion that maps at 40 meters is a high skill gap precision weapon, that might be an issue. And yes, sniper can do do, but again, snipers are high skill gap precision weapons. Fusions are the exact opposite of that at the moment. And it doesn't mean anything in game? That's a laughable response. Our tests show that a moving target can easily be one shot at 40 meters and guess what? Moving targets are being one shot at 40 meters in quickplay as we speak.

You trying to support your bias with testing you conduct outside of actual games is meaningless. There are snipers in almost every real game. It’s a waste of time to reply to every wrong thing in your comment, when the false premise is the problem.
