I'm gonna be "that guy" who didn't take the time to watch whatever you linked, but still make a comment.
Skill based match making, in quick play and Gambit at least, shouldn't exist. And it does. Right now.
Sometimes I just want to go into quick play, put on a stupid load out and have some fun. Lately I've been using a hush for the lolz. Do I care about winning? Not always. Sometimes I just want to play without giving it much thought or effort. Does that mean I want 80% or more of my matches to be against a four to six stack who play like it's comp, running NFs and chaining supers? While bungies matching system decides I'm good enough literally every single game to carry several thumbless dolts who couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat?
Again...No.
That's why quick play exists, and why Gambit is separate from prime with it's armor sets. It's supposed to be "just jump in and have fun, who cares because it doesn't matter". And I feel like that's not the case in quick play right now, as is.
I'm fine with higher end game modes, such as comp, having mmr. That's the whole point. But in quick play? No sir.

I'm going to go ahead and not care about whatever you have to say in reply. If you want to willfully stay ignorant on how the game functions, that's on you.

Cared enough to reply. <3

Gosh, so did you. You're not very good at getting what you give huh?

I don't have to insult you. Actually would feel bad about it, since the best you can manage is a 1.04 kd. Guess we found out why you're in favor of sbmm.
