They couldn't really do that because it would put older consoles at a disadvantage. Besides, the game looks fine at 30fps.

Even more like 10 minutes, once you see 60fps destiny and go back to 30Fps, 30 FPS looks like choppy hell

Ideal fov depends on how big your display is and how far you sit from it. And then it just comes down to personal preference/whatever fov doesn't make you motion sick.

85 is console, you’re running console default I recommend 95 to have a decent FOV but not get that fishbowl effect I personally run between 95-105, depending on the activity

I'm on PC. But yeah the 85 is the supposed default that came with the game with I first installed it. I've never touched that slider before.

If you have a decent PC and don’t care about having a bigger FOV that causes slight fishbowl, crank it up. It’s useful to see more of your surroundings

I guess if my eyes were used to it higher then it might make a difference. Just playing in 30fps all the time feels fine though.

It definitely looks and feels better with higher framerate, but that doesn't mean 30fps is bad. It works fine most of the time. I'm terms of FOV, I've never understood the desire for it to be higher. I personally get headaches when I look at PC gameplay where the FOV is turned up really high. Destiny looks best at the default FOV in my opinion.

I don’t even have my FOV and max most times I usually run at like 95 which is a sweet spot, not too close but also not the fishbowl effect Trust me, I was just like you. “Oh 30Fps is fine, very little difference” Once I got a Pc, and was able to slide that shit to 60+ and high settings with like 95-105 FOV, I just said “Oh shit”

Eh, I don't really see what all the fuss is about. I've seen lots of Destiny gameplay in 60fps, and even played in it a few times. It's nice, but it doesn't feel necessary.

I have tried 60fps, and just don't care about it. I care 10x more about gameplay than graphics.

Good for you. I care about gameplay too. Wouldn’t hurt to have 60fps on newer gen consoles though
