Swords can powerarmor through the slam with an aerial heavy attack, though the damage is so much ass that I still don't use swords in stuff like Gambit or Strike bosses.

Demoting swords to special ammo weapons would make them so much more viable. A sword just doesn't belong next to rocket/grenade launchers, LMGs and things like Tractor Cannon or 1k voices

Swords are actually pretty solid power weapons, they melt everuthing but the biggest bosses and I'm fine with that. If they were given special abilities like the ones in D1 they would be a lot more viable, byt if you make them special weapobs the damage would need to be nerfed so they would be useless. Maybe a spin attack or a multi hit splitter drop would make them a lot stronger against big bosses.
