Yeah, there's a lot of exotics that could really use some buffs. -Sweet Business -Jade Rabbit (scout rifles as a whole need a buff) -Crimson -Suros Regime -Malfeasance -Wish-Ender -Arbalest -Coldheart -Prometheus Lens -Sunshot -Skyburner's Oath -Hard Light -Merciless -Trinity Ghoul -The Colony (in PvE) -Worldline Zero (only good for speed)

  • Half of those exotics I get killed by in PvP at least twice a week. Not everything needs to be good in PvE. You try jade rabbit in pvp? It’s nuts. Crimson is also good, could be better but it’s good. Coldhear and Prometheus lens melt period, arbalest is a clearly meant for pvp just like wish ended. Sky burners oath I think was meant to troll. Merciless also melts still. Reevaluate

  • Most of the exotics I listed would only need slight buffs to see more use. Take Hard Light for example. It would be good if not for the horrible screen shake. Tone that down some, and it would be a good gun.

  • i think Suros aswell as other autos are pretty good if used right, agreed they suck in pvp, except Suros is pretty good if you know what your doing, but in pve i use breakneck alot and now the new raid auto is really good with outlaw multikill clip on.

  • I agree with all but Arbalest, the thing is pretty good at what it does, negating enemy shield and increasing damage done to them. Good when doing very difficult mission with heavily shielded enemies.

  • Actually you’d be surprised. I popped it out lately and when combined with actium war rig, rally barricade, or a well/rift with lunafactions it really can clean the house.

  • Any ideas in particular you'd want to see? Only few I can think at the moment are -arbalest should cause an explosion to shields the same way matching elements do -sunshot needs a magazine buff -hardlight needs to lose that damn screen shake -wishender should have archers tempo in its intrinsic to make it award accuracy Other than that, I dont play with the other weapons enough to really comment on their needs.

    Here's some of my ideas for buffs: -Sweet Business: Change the catalyst to make it give Sweet Business a bottomless magazine (entire reserve is loaded at once). -Sunshot: 2-3 more shots in the mag, and [b][i][u]MORE EXPLOSIONS[/u][/i][/b] -Crimson: Reduce rate of fire, but greatly increase the damage (enough to two-burst in PvP). Make it feel more like Red Death. -Jade Rabbit: Add something to incentivize headshots. Maybe make the perk work both ways (chain body shots for more headshot damage, chain headshots for more body shot damage). -Wish-Ender: Remove the weird split damage thing, and yeah, give it Archer's Tempo. -Malfeasance: Increase the damage and radius of the explosions, and make the shots detonate if they hit surfaces, too. -Suros Regime: Just buff Auto Rifles -Arbalest: Shots should pierce energy shields (headshot a Captain through his shield), and it should one shot energy shields no matter what. -Coldheart: Increase the continuous damage bonus, or slow down enemies in the beam. -Prometheus Lens: Give it a Melting Point effect on enemies in the fire bubble. -Trinity Ghoul: Lightning Rod should activate on precision hits, not kills. -Skyburner's Oath: Better hip-fire accuracy, also make scouts better as a whole. -Hard Light: Give the gun some Adderall so it quits shaking so damn much. -Colony: Increase the blast damage in PvE to compensate for the lack of impact damage.

    I can agree on mostly all of those except Jade Rabbit. Whole premise of the weapon is chaining body shots, hitting crit, refunding ammo, rinse, and repeat. Guess it kinda makes it like a poor man's Whisper with less DPS. I honestly think just a buff to scouts in general would be able to get it back into the pool of frequently used weapons.

  • Believe me man, I get it. That was my go to weapon class back in Destiny, with a damn good Gheleon's Demise as my usual primary. That's more or less why I loved rocking the First Curse I think since it was more like a handheld scout. Now though, only scout I use on the regular if at all is Polaris lance, and that just depends on my current mood.

  • Skyburner is just trash right now and that makes me sad, it takes 4 headshots to kill a -blam!-ing phalanx, and that's when i'm aiming, so even the thing that it should do it's poorly done
