I hope that's the case, but prior history on the sub forum points to a different reason. If people disliked it I'd hope they'd say why so I could improve

That's exactly the reason. Bungie really needs to make a fanfic sub forum instead of telling people to put it in lore. As it is, it belongs in lore, so it'd be nice if people didn't down vote out of spite

Oh I totally agree with you. It's an imperfect paradox: the only place to post Fanfiction on the game's own website is the very place it doesn't belong. That's why I stopped writing as much as I did, but had always wanted to write one about the Crypt

It's all good man. Like I said, fanfic isn't my cup of tea, but I don't mind it. Just annoying to have it forced into lore.
