28. [spoiler] You hear a grim and echoing laugh as the mist in front of you breaks to reveal Cell-3, mastermind of The New Dawn invasion, walking slowly towards you. Your allies behind you begin to prep for combat. A. Command everyone to split up (Go to 33) B. Tackle him and have your teammates shoot at Cell (Go to 34) C. Fight him in unarmed combat, Offtopickle vs. Machine (Go to 31) [/spoiler] 29. [spoiler] "You sacrificed your buddies... just to get to me? Do you even know who they were?" The grim voice echoes across the street. You tighten your fists as you keep your hand near a grenade, just in case you need it. You see Cell-3 walk slowly in front of you. "You really think you can challenge me and The New Dawn? With that measly equipment? Might as well make it fair for you and fight you unarmed, wouldn't you say the same?" A. Engage in a "fair" fight (Go to 35) B. Screw it. Shoot him. (Go to 36) [/spoiler] 30. [spoiler] Before you can even begin to raise the pistol, Cell drives a round straight through your skull. You fall to the ground, limp. "Pathetic", he says as he quickly guns down your ally and walks away. You have died.[/spoiler] 31. [spoiler] "Wise choice...", Cell says as he retracts his gatling gun from his right hand. He raises two metal fists. What will you do? A. Tackle him to the ground (Go to 34) B. Kick him in the leg (Go to 37) [/spoiler] 32. [spoiler] You drop to your knees, and you drop your gun. Your ally stares in shock, but Cell quickly makes short work of them. "Wise choice...", Cell whispers as he grabs you by the neck. "Offtopic would do much worse to you if they found out you betrayed them and joined me... so I'll keep this between us", Cell remarks as he drops you to the ground. You survive, but at the cost of your loyalty, your allies, and possibly your freedom. You have survived.[/spoiler] 33. [spoiler] As you split up, Cell lets out a spray of bullets, but misses every shot. You throw a grenade over in his general direction, which, after a short fuse, explodes his leg off. Your allies quickly shoot two rounds into Cell's mechanical head as they go for the kill. You look up to see the mission succeeding, and you flash a thumbs up. You are extracted from the city, and your allies, Lahdsai and Irasthymus, decide to throw you a birthday party. How nice! You have survived![/spoiler] 34. [spoiler] As you go in for a tackle at the legs, you weren't expecting a blade to pop out of Cell's left arm, impaling you mid-jump as you choke in blood. Cell throws you to the ground, leaving you dying. You have died.[/spoiler] 35. [spoiler] You raise your fists, but the chances of surviving this fight seem very slim... A. Throw an uppercut (Go to 38) B. Throw a straight up punch (Go to 39) C. Kick him in the chest area (Go to 40) [/spoiler] 36. [spoiler] You blindly shoot him in the face, and somehow, out of pure luck, you manage to shoot his eye out. You pull out your knife, but Cell begins to fire his gatling gun blindly, a hail of bullets digging into your torso, sending you writhing on the ground as you bleed out. You have died.[/spoiler] 37. [spoiler] As you kick Cell in the leg, he sends two punches straight for your head, which you easily dodge. You finish him off with an uppercut... little did Cell know that you hid your knife inside the palm of your hand, and you impale him in his head, causing him to malfunction and fall to the ground. If both allies survived: Your two allies reveal themselves as none other than Irasthymus and Lahdsai, and you hear about the successful operation halting The New Dawn's advances. Perhaps a dawn of justice has risen... You have survived If one ally survived: Once you hit safe grounds, you hold a funeral for your fallen squadmate, and vow to get vengeance. While The New Dawn has receded, you won't stop there... they must be eradicated... You have survived.[/spoiler] 38. [spoiler]The uppercut goes wrong as Cell grabs your arm as you begin to swing it, and crushes it with a single closing fist, sending you screaming as your now disembodied arm lands on the gravel beneath you. Cell leaves you on the sidewalk to die, painfully... "It's what humans deserve...", he says as he walks away. You have died.[/spoiler] 39. [spoiler] You throw a punch, but immediately cry in pain as Cell rips your arm off with one simple grab. He finishes you off by reaching into your chest and pulling out your heart, blood trickling from his cold metal hand... You have died.[/spoiler] 40. [spoiler] You kick as hard as you can, and send Cell flying into a wall of a nearby building. You unpin a grenade from your bandolier as you pull out your pistol. Cell, still dazed, doesn't notice the frag landing at his feet. In a few seconds, it explodes, making him nothing but a pile of scrap metal. You eventually are extracted out of the city, but the death of your squadmates forever haunts you. Sure, you might've stopped the invasion, but you won't stop fighting until The New Dawn is [b]erased[/b]. You have survived. [/spoiler] Wow, this was fun to write. My two hours have been redeemed. This is just a small little storyline I came up with on the spot, lemme know if you wanna see more of it!
