In theory, his personality was already downloaded and backed up at the Deep Stone Crypt; SIVA would not be required to “resurrect” him.
That being said...Bungie have made it pretty clear that he is dead.

Personally, I hope they do something with the Deep Stone Crypt. Maybe even that we can enter it as some form of VR, giving us the possibility to speek with dead exo's like Saint-14 and cayde.
