  • I think yes as you don’t seem to understand that power creep take place over significantly longer than 1 update. Also it’s entirely different as bungie can negate it by sufficiently updating they simply choose not to.

  • You have a point, but the problem is the busted perk is very strong and some people are strictly adverse to nerfing things that are strong. Instead they would prefer everything to be scaled up to the level of the powerful anomalies. That is when powercreep arises as a concern

  • Valid point but let's be honest, there will always be people who complain no matter what action is taken. Some love the nerfs, some hate the nerfs, but only the most delusional would see fixing a perk that's breaking a game mode as a problem. We all had a blast playing lazer tag when Promethius Lens had it's weekend, but everyone understood when it was 'patched'. Man....that was a fun weekend though lol

    yeah I never come onto the forum with complaints, pretty much anything that ever kills me is my fault. The only thing I complained about recently was supers in general having too much armor, saying that they should realistically be killable. But I never complained about ace of spades (pc) or not forgotten, I dont complain about shotguns or fusions or hunters or any of the other stuff people like to complain about, but doing this seasons’ legend comp run this weekend against lord of wolves every game was awful. I feel like the only people who seriously don’t think lord of wolves should be nerfed are people who dont play crucible and are now finally able to enjoy it because they have a broken gun to use

People like you always acting like it's the communities fault things get nerfed. It's the " community" that crutches and takes no responsibility and than acts surprised things are nerfed. ( mainly due to pvp). You are not exempt from that. Look at Hunters they have been crutching on a jump and Supers for 4/5 years and the game is no better from it.

    I was frustrated about the not forgotten nerf A) because I had gotten it two weeks before and B) I play on pc where not forgotten was always outclassed by ace of spades and the last word in almost all situations so the nerf wasn’t even necessary and catered to console players, when if a nerf was really in order they could have easily settled for something else that would have worked on both platforms if they werent incompetent.

  • I need help understanding something. I see a bunch of people posting in here about supposed "separate sandbox tuning" for PvP and PVE, like Bungie has already started tuning them separately. Is that really a thing? In the Datto as the interviewer TWAB, Bungie seemed to say they were going to continue to balance everything together so weapons/subclasses felt the same across all content. Did I interpret that wrong? Did I miss something? Seriously. Im confused.

  • They tune things like damage separately. For example the % amount rampage ramps up in pvp is less than it is in pve for balance purposes I guess. I doubt they would separate the fundamentals of a weapon between the two but they are certainly at least capable of damage changes because they have made them before. That, and ammo pickup per brick. Reduce lord of wolves’ pvp damage so that you at least need to be within damage falloff distance to do significant damage and need to hit more shots in the burst, or maybe reduce the ammo you get per brick from 30 to 15, or some middle ground between the two. But it can definitely be done, I could easily see a patch note “reduced lord of wolves damage per shot in pvp by 50%, lord of wolves ammo per brick in pvp has been reduced to 15” or something like that.

  • Honesty I think maybe just the ammo change might be enough. They could cap out the ammo you get at 10 as well. Only ever getting one 10 burst back on a pickup with 2 scav perks seems like it would reduce it's effectiveness quite a bit while still letting it feel exotic.

  • Not sure it would change much. I've been using it lately and with 10 you can burst someone down no problem, issue if you had less and gave like 5 you couldn't even take the shield down... On the other hand the scav perks might be a decent change, though for people like me who run 3-4 secondary ammo scavs at all times it wouldn't change much, especially since I'd still be loaded on low after bursting them down.

  • Pretty sure you can only run two special ammo scavs at a time, which currently gives you 30 shots. If you only got 10-15 back per brick with two scavs it'd give you a reason to actually use the five burst.

  • Oh does having more than 2 not stack currently? Wasn't aware if so. Also yeah I tend to get 30 back when I do run that so it makes sense... Also it can loose all 15 shots in one package so you could still just use them and then get back the ammo on kill.

  • Pretty sure you can only have two special weapon scavs on armour, since they only roll on gloves and class items.

  • Special Ammo Finder doesn't increase the amount of ammo you get, just the chance of you getting it (which is redundant in PvP since if you have Special Ammo you're guaranteed to drop it on death anyway.)
