These topics are just going to keep popping up until cores are removed from infusion.
Just do it already. They're not necessary. They don't add anything of value to the grindy process that is leveling other than to make it more grindy. Making leveling more grindy doesn't make leveling meaningful.
If removing them from infusion means that it's too easy to Masterwork, then find more uses for cores.
Before anyone decides to drop the "Cores are easy to get. I have 834 of them." or some other stupid number, I don't care how many you have or how easy they are to get. Cores add nothing of value to the infusion system. The community has been extremely vocal about this. So vocal that it's a wonder why it's still part of infusion.
EDIT: Still don't care how many cores you can get per day, how easy they are to get or how many you personally have. Come at me with a proper argument for why they should be part of infusion.
EDIT 2: I also don't care that Bungie has spoken on this matter. Cores can stay, they just need to be removed from Infusion.
EDIT 3: The only way we've gotten anywhere with Bungie is through complaining. Just because you don't see a point in it, doesn't mean it isn't working. Just because you don't have a problem with cores, doesn't mean others don't. Just because you have alot of free time, doesn't mean others do. Just because you're happy swapping between your three characters, does not mean others are. I don't even see why people are against the removal of cores from infusion. The idea adds nothing of value. It's just unnecessary. Not seeing an issue with something doesn't mean you need to be against people who do have an issue with it.
It's hilarious, you're going to get 1 of 9-10 responses from the same 7 or 8 people in the forms who act almost cultish about bungie and cores. I made a true yet satire post, with a couple serious points.
Low and behold, several of the same neckbeards, koolaid drinkers, and try hardest that support cores and give everyone shit, were the ones not only getting triggered by my comment, but dropping the numbered responses I mocked.
It would be hilarious, if it wasn't sad. I gave them a nickname: The Core Brigade.

It is a pretty small number by comparison, and they’ve been very active the last week. It is sad. I have to say though that I don’t get the neckbeard dis. I know some pretty cool people with long beards!
I have to say though that I don’t get the neckbeard dis. I know some pretty cool people with long beards!
It started a long time ago, but essentially the whole neckbeard is based around the guys who live in their parents basement, playing video games all day. Have bad acne from lack of personal hygiene, has a full beard on their neck, but hardly any on their face. Kinda sounds like kyles Jewish nerdy cousin from Southpark. I mean I can go on, but you can see where I'm going with this.

Ok, ok, I get it now. So these are the same people that get triggered when Bungie does stuff like put a quest exotic into the loot pool? I get it now.

Oh! Wow! I’ve been way off all this time. I thought a neckbeard was just a beard that covered your neck! You know, like James Hardin. Wow! I’m so glad I’ve never used that word now!
