Taking inspiration from Warframe and Fortnite (yeah I know), they have the option to equip up to 8 emotes. It would be hella nice if we were also able to do this as there are a ton of emotes in the game and we are only able to use 4 at a time.

Edited by ShizukuXS: 11/19/2019 5:02:29 AMI just stumbled onto this out of curiosity lol, i agree though, we need a bigger wheel, it just feels so annoying not having the right emote at the right time, at least on console, if you want to use an emote you dont have equipped it takes so long to open the menu, go to the tab, equip the one you wanna use by the time you're done the moment has passed, annoying. And the design could be so much more simpler, say idk, hold up on the d-pad, use right joystick/point to select emote, let go of dpad, done, and with that you even open up buttons for whatever else

That would certainly be nice-ish.

Let me use my ‘emote’ slots as shortcuts if I so choose. I’d rather lose one emote, but pressing ‘up’ on the d-pad now takes me straight to pursuits.
-
I'd rather have a way to make ghost be a flashlight when I need it! Not when he feels like it.

If you really want an example they should follow then you should have said Black Desert Online

Hell, they could even revert up and down on the d-pad (for controllers obviously) to greetings and resting/idle emotes respectively. Then they could change the competitive showcase emote to the right and the wheel could be revealed by holding the left.
Yes, consumables like synths would be useful here but we all know it’s unlikely.
No. I fůçking hate the many emotes emote wheel. It exponentially increases the time it takes to emote, and will probably remove the ability to mix the light construct emotes with the dances. Youd also lose those times when you emote for about a half second in pvp just to piss off the other guy and go about your day
-
Or use a heavy synth. Oh wait, thats right...
-
Do it like overwatch where holding up on the d-pad opens a wheel where you select an emote using the right thumbstick

1 ReplyEmote wheel should be like fortnite where you hold the dpad and then the wheel comes up. Would free up 3 dpad directions for inputs that could be bound to things like, oh I don’t know, the pursuits menu

1 ReplyI simple solution would be to reassign the directional buttons, imagine clicking one and each direction having their own pinwheel this would enable 16 emotes, simple and spacious, just have each directional pop up its own directional pinwheel, this gives 4 times more options only requiring one more quick button tap. And if you have a tab up a simple b click to exit or any non directional button. As an addition having a little wheel menu pop in the lower left with the emote icons of the menu you open would make ease of remembrance for this increase. Just an idea.

Much bigger indeed. And less costly. Your wallets must be on fire, like your assholes.

Heck, even battlefront 2 has a bigger emote wheel! Bump!
