I don't have 100s of cores. I have 20. I get what I need and infuse when I get armor that's 10 light above my current piece.
You can do that. You wont do that. You'll just hope that someone here will whine loud and long enough to get what they want.
Shadowkeep is not going to be your game as it will now have heavier RPG mechanics. Get with the program or go play a different game. The devs have spoken to us more than 10 times. It's not going away.
respect and accept their decision.

no i will not do it they way they now want us to do it, infusion worked just fine without those dumb cores and they need to be removed.
-
Okay well here's the deal, jack.. Kay? there's the door. 🙋

We, the consumers, are what keeps this game afloat. It is simply a bad business practice to ignore your consumers. Heavier RPG Mechanics are fine. What's not fine are mechanics that exist to hinder progress. There is zero reason to slow player progression. Infusion requiring enhancement cores adds nothing of value and only slows player progression. As I stated, if removing cores from infusion means that it's too easy to masterwork, then that means we need more uses for cores. It's just not necessary to have cores as part of infusion.
-
By that logic, all upgrade mechanics do hinder progress.
-
Edited by Necrogen: 6/11/2019 2:29:58 AMYes we the consumers buy things and do things. Great. Anyway, you may think that it's a bad idea. very few people actually believe that the cores are a bad idea. They are not going to listen to 100% of everybody about every thing. If they want to change it they will change it themselves because they want to. And for the last time... they did not ignore the community they explicitly stated over 10 times they are not going to remove the cores
-
You clearly read "Remove Cores" and nothing else. I want them gone from Infusion because it makes zero sense to have them as part of infusion. It makes sense to keep cores for Masterworking.
-
Edited by Necrogen: 6/11/2019 3:21:20 AMAnd I think you clearly read it wrong when Bungie said NO 10 fng times times. what do you not understand about the word no?
-
And what would it matter now? Now what's going to be the resource to infuse them? If you make a completely new source then all of a sudden you're farming for that thing.
-
Edited by TheShadow-cali: 6/11/2019 1:42:26 AMIt's people like you that are the problem with this forum. Since when do you think you have a right to tell anyone what to do on this forum? The OP is right, they do not add any form of value to this game whatsoever, they are literally a waste of material like half the material in this game that only has one or 2 purposes the most that you end up staking for no reason at all because there is nothing to really use the material for in this game. How you play the game is how you play, but that doesn't mean anyone has to play how you do and it doesn't mean you're "right". Shadowkeep is not going to change this game at all, it's still going to be what it is now and to even attempt to use "RPG" in Destiny is comical...
-
Then make masterworking take something else. The problem is they used something designed for a completely different thing.
-
even you have to understand that if you add in an extra resource meant for just Master working you're going to have people complain that now they have yet another resource to farm to do something else
-
Yes, but the community will complain about anything. Just removing them from infusion is honestly the best decision.
-
Agreed that they will complain about anything. Now let's say we do in fact remove them from infusion and now they have to farm a separate resource for a master working. Oh man will it be bedlum on the forums.

Please provide every mention of cores from the dev team.
