100,000 is an arbitrary number. I feel like I always either have max glimmer or no glimmer. Give me the ability to stockpile a bit. Why not make the cap the standard 999,999?

1 ReplyCosts would just get raised, we wouldn't get anywhere
-
10 RepliesOr reduce the cost of infusion back down to 5000, instead of 8000.
-
59 RepliesBungie should be very concerned. Nobody is pre-ordering. Without good sales ... D3 will never happen. Hell I didn't even log in for the new raid.. first time I skipped new content. Numbers are still going down. Bye bye Bung Hole!

23 RepliesEdited by Musashi: 6/10/2019 9:34:45 PMWho remembers 20,000?
-
1 ReplyThis isn’t going to happen. They confirmed in an e3 interview they want to make glimmer even more valuable, so prices are going up boys and girls.
-
2 RepliesWould you pay £14.99 for this in eververse?
-
in a voice interview which is around here somewhere - it sounds like Bungie is going to be changing up the resource system come September and Glimmer is going to be more prevalent in purchases (upgrades), with the underlying meaning that players will not be consistently be sitting at 100k.

4 RepliesThis, also could i spend my glimmer on more than just raid banners please ..... Also let my sell my thousands of Baryon Boughs to Spider or somebody, let me donate them to charity, anything at this point please and thanks .
-
remove glimmer cap entirely lol, just keep gaining and gaining till you dont gotta worry anymore
-
10 RepliesMember? Member when people were upset there was nothing to spend "all your glimmer" on? I member. And when that complaint resurfaces after they give you increased glimmer caps, I'll member all this complaining you're all doing now.
-
I’ll tell you exactly why It causes you to play more. If you can only save up 100k you’ll have to put more time in to get glimmer when you’re low. If you’re playing and get 500,000 or 750,000 or 1,000,000 you’ll never have to worry about playing specifically for glimmer. If you go and drop 75,000 on the barge you know you need to keep playing to get your glimmer back up. If you don’t play all the time this almost forces you to play some more
-
Or even 500k would be good.
-
The game can register 1,000,000 i think not sure why they choose 100k

67 RepliesI like how they upped the glimmer needed to infuse now too because they knew glimmer was going to be coveted for chests. Why the increase for infusing all of a sudden? It’s this kind of shit that doesn’t give me hope for Bungie’s future vision. There’s no way they keep any of these “new light” players unless they stop doing this kind of shit. They chase away people before they even get them. I’m not telling my friends they should come and play Destiny until they stop this kind of behavior which is what they want us to be doing here soon.

4 RepliesRemove it. Add in player trading, and an auction house or broker house.
-
Why not make it 777,777? That’ll appease the Bungo gods
-
I miss the consumables in D1 (house banners, etc.) that you could stash for a rainy day.... I still have about 600K worth in the vault.
-
Maybe a little.. with the amount we have to spend can put the cap a little low.
-
Yessss please do
-
4 RepliesIt should be raised to......
-
Bump it
-
1 ReplyTotally agree. Show me mo glimmer
-
1 ReplyWe were given an Adults Wallet when D2 released and will be given a Giants Wallet when D3 releases.

2 RepliesEdited by Xero: 6/11/2019 2:49:43 PMWARNING! DANGER, WILL ROBINSON! DANGER! There is one problem, something that is inevitable. Something that we won't want, but will happen anyway...if that came to pass. Making no cap will eventually justify a reason to increase costs as a whole to ridiculously large numbers in order to extend the KPI of player play time. This would be due to the nature of players hording items. This has happened in D1, and it has happened now in D2. Regardless of it being very few players or very many players. Regardless of the reason, even if it's due to a broken economy where there is nothing to use it on currently. You would be better off figuring out the system now and try to work around it. This can turn into a lose-lose situation very subtly, very quickly in the long run. Just think about this for a moment. Really think about this, and be careful what you wish for...

Edited by KCKChiefs: 6/11/2019 8:56:19 PMThis is nothing. I remember D1 days farming exclusion zone for hours a day for glimmer/weapon parts to reroll weapons.
