When you upgrade the chalice it grants chests each week. There is a fixed about, but they reset weekly.

I've already opened the chests this week though and the only upgrade I bought was the one that opens the chests.

It’s like the old ascendent challenge accidental resets on a Sunday, same with spider bounties. We don’t post about them though, or it gets fixed. As long as the accidental Sunday stuff is completed by Tuesday reset it does not affect us in a negative way, only positive 👍
