Mountain Top quest is not possible
This quest seems impossible in the current sandbox and meta. The rapid kills are impossible without extreme luck if you kill 2 people with 1 grenade. Everything else is possible but that requirement. You have a extremely short amount of time to get another kill since its less then 3 seconds. This needs to be addressed since pinnacle weapons will always be available and the meta will keep changing and so will ttk removing any chance a grenade launcher will get 2 rapid kills
Hopefully all of you upvote this post so maybe a dev could respond and at least discuses this with the dev team to see how they can change the rapid kills into this new fast ttk sandbox. If you have something negative speak your mind or any other solutions

Personally, I just finished the quest yesterday. My tips: Go into mayhem, use three grenade launchers, tether at least 2 people, hit one of them with a grande launcher and they both die giving you easy double kills. I usually only got 0%-2% per game, so it’s long, but worth it once you get over the hump.

2 RepliesI just finished mine this morning and I gotta say, it’s probably one of the most annoying things I’ve done in this game. I also didn’t realize that even if you got fabled in other seasons it doesn’t carry across to other ones. Good luck on your quest

1 ReplyDefinitely run militia’s birthright with ambitious assassin. Still the easiest way to get kills outside of mayhem or heavy. Should make sure it has spike grenades though or the one shot will be unlikely

I could tell you that when I tried in a couple matches and my quest progress stuck at 2% a few months back. I made it “impossible” on purpose and suggest you do the same. It’s fun to use from those have it. But it’s stupid (at least for me) to do the quest.

BF was my main defense weapon whilst I camped near heavy, ET was my preferred GL for getting the doubles/triples and FL was to try and pick the last kill for calculated medals if I only got 2 with the heavy I put my setup on my Hunter if you want to check it out.

3 RepliesUse a fast killing Pulse Rifle and stay with your group in maps with long corridors. Shoot down the corridor after your team mates started shooting. You will kill two guys most of the time shortly before (oder after) you get killed (good old lag).
