Coward Zavala should’ve died instead of Cayde: change my mind.

Neither should have died. Cayde was reckless and that got him killed. Zavala was negligent and that cost him.

I mean, he literally just pulled out Sundance right in front of an enemy army. Full view. No cover. Surely the Hunter Vanguard understands the concept of cover.

Yeah. I take it from the fact that he just took down an army single-handedly and wasn’t thinking straight. I don’t think it takes a genius to pull out your most prized possession in front of a bunch of baddies.
