“Ah. Playing with fire was always fun to me anyways.”, Cake whispers to himself as his tendrils punch holes in the ground in front of him, causing lava geysers to shoot up. His rock shield is still held steady by his two other tendrils. Sai reaches in for a strike, but a tendril punches a hole beneath Sai, exposing the fiery flames beneath the sheet of rock. Wobbling on the edge, Sai clumsily jumps over a tendril swipe for his ankles but lands on the ground, grunting. A glistening pancake can be seen lying next to the hole, and Sai hungrily reaches for it. “You’re not you when you’re hungry Sai. Go for it. My treat.”, Cake ushers on as he squats down on the ground, letting out small giggles as Sai fights against the temptation of eating the pancake. Through teary eyes, Sai sends out a blast at the cake, evaporating the golden treat into a watery mist. Before any of the two can react, however, a geyser of lava explodes in between the two, staggering both, but letting Sai reposition a few feet back. Cake begins to tear up lava holes around Sai, and two spines are sent flying at Sai, one lodging into the ground as a result of a faulty misfire. Sai uses up the last bit of stamina he has left and spins around it, shooting two red energy balls at Cake’s rock shield, which soaks up the hits. Cake sends an outstretched right hand forward as tendrils wrap around Sai’s limbs, and, in torturous fashion, send Sai into one of the lava pits. After being pulled out, many parts of Sai can be seen burnt and seared, and his clothing seems to be ripped and bleeding in certain places. “Heh. All part of the plan,” Sai states as his eyes grow to a dark purple and Cake finds himself stuck in a miniature black hole, sapping away at his very soul as his screams echo across the arena. As the black hole fades away, Sai takes the opportunity to douse the unaware Cake in a pool of lava, burning him as well. Cake’s robe is nothing more than a crisp, but that mattered not in a trial by fire. Another tendril sends Sai drowning in the pool of lava once again, his mask now burnt off to reveal two ghastly purple eyes in their extreme power, and a screaming mouth. Sai lets out small energy balls as a last-ditch attempt, but Cake’s adrenaline makes the pain miniscule as a tendril wraps around Sai’s chest. Cake walks up to the warrior and pushes a pancake into his mouth, muffling his groans of pain, and another tendril shoots a spine straight through his head. Cake’s clones begin to dance around Sai, each spewing insults as Cake sends spines stabbing through all of Sai’s limbs and through his eyes, his screaming now clearly audible. Cake smiles as he whispers into Sai’s ear… “You expected a challenge, and I believe that I delivered.” “Heh. This body was only a vessel anyways. It was a good fight. Now…. end it,” Sai’s voice now a ghastly hush. Cake jams his hands into Sai’s skull and rips it in half, send the spines dislodged and the body limp as a purple ghastly energy drains out of it, leaving the eyes lifeless. Cake promptly salutes the warrior, and turns tail as he exits the arena.
