The Right is worse. Way. Way worse. -
The Right is worse. Way. Way worse.
In a parrel universe maybe. 9/10 things the left are outraged about on a daily basis are based on lies. The remaining 1/10 are things blown out of proportion.
The private message from the other day. You sent a link, but I don’t have internet on my phone.
Oh. I remember you now. My bad. The link was "trump is love. Trump is life." On YouTube. You can search that and find it yourself. To answer your question seriously though.
I am a fan of Donald Trump. There are things about trump that I dont like. Like, for example, him being naive enough to believe Paul Ryan had any interest in getting the wall built. And I wish he took the national debt more seriously. The tax cuts have actually led to more government revenue because the economy is doing better but you know, there hasn't been a decrease in government spending to go along with it. But I do agree with him on most issues.

I am less of a fan of the GOP in general than I am of trump. I think both parties have become subservient to the donor class/special interests. And in some cases I think the only reason the GOP has the position they have on a thing is because trump exists. Immigration, read, illegal immigration and mass migration being a great example. Both parties would be more than happy to let it be as it is or even allow more of it to drive down the value of unskilled labor. Big business loves that. But trump exists so Republicans are following the leader. For now. I have no doubt in my mind if someone like Mitt Romney won it would be different.

that said. For everything I dont like about trump or the Republicans I feel like there is something on the left to piss me off even more. I dont like the sacrifice of civil liberty on the altar of "national security" but the Democrats dont have as much of a problem with that as they did when Bush was in office and their stance on gun control pisses me off even more. I'm pretty much convinced that the national debt has reached the point of no return and I dont think the Republican party cares enough to do anything about it but I'm convinced Democrats care even less. I also do not like seeing manufactured or exaggerated racial outrage turn out to be based on lies or misinformation over and over and over again and it always seems to land on the Democrats.
I could go on if you'd like but I figure that's enough text for one thread.

All very good points and reasons. I like how you actually use solid information, instead of just going “boo, Dems bad, cause reasons.” You pose a valid argument. And hey, Trump hasn’t hit the nuclear button yet.
*nervous laughter*
