Only some things have duplicate protection (assuming everything is working as intended) with Eververse. I don’t think shells have such protection, since they can roll with different perks. Plus, to my knowledge, the totem shell is only available through the purchasable bundle with silver.

Yea. Getting the same perks isn’t too uncommon, as I believe there are just a few possible perks for each slot.
