Belt-fed system(no reload; all 1099 bullets are loaded and ready to fire.)
Miles better than the useless hip fire accuracy and reload on ammo pickup perk. What sense is there in a gun that reloads while firing on ammo pickup, when ammo drops right on top of something? What, did they expect it to be used in melee range?

Edited by puppyk1sses: 5/11/2019 11:17:59 PMSweet business shouldn’t have a reload at all, all one massive belt. It should also be in your heavy slot. It should also deal a schit ton of damage. It should also be moved to the heavy machine gun category. Let’s also make it void, cuz void heavies kinda suck.

I actually prefer it as an auto rifle in the kinetic slot. I don't mind its damage, either; it's a lot of little bullets at an extremely high rate of fire. Its damage is actually quite decent for the slot it's in if you stand behind a rallying barricade or in a luna well. It's just the clumsiness of how quickly it depletes a magazine, its spin-up time, and its slow reload that gets in the way of it being useful. It's only good when supplemented by class abilities that you have to stand still with, and only just decent if you forsake an exotic slot to use actium war rig on a titan. Miniguns are a lot of little bullets, so thematically it fits in a kinetic slot with low-impact-per-shot as well. I wouldn't be opposed to a bigger gatling gun machine gun exotic, though.

And since we're asking for things, let's have using it equip a backpack onto our Guardian with the belt running to the gun. Like Jesse Ventura in Predator.
