Very interesting indeed. This feels to me like we need not to trust the 4, no matter what. If we did, I don’t see much benefit. However, it seems that the nine are fairly similar to the elders in Horizon Zero Dawn. In fact, it seems like a direct copy nearly. However, my biggest question is still, what are they? I mean, like we are an awoken or human or exo guardian, whereas the nine still aren’t outlined properly in order for understanding. In a way, they seem to almost be critics of our guardian’s work. Perhaps Bungie is poking more fun at us, similar to the “Killed by the Architects” statement.
