You do know thats the hardware issues of a PS4, not software of games right? Thats why SSDs have almost instantaneous load times over HDDs. Look at another game like Monster Hunter or Spyro Reigntied. Long load times because of the console Not saying the game is flawless with how many times ive been in limbo spectating poeple at the tower waiting to spawn in, but its beyond their control unless you want 720p graphics and nobody likes that unless your on a phone.

6 RepliesSwapped my ps4 hard drive to SSD and man o man!!!!!

It is like a posse of salesmen. I was promised by Bungie prior to purchasing my one x they would fix it and its slower than ever. They have 25% of their fan base left so there is no excuse.
-
5 RepliesJust get an X or pro, sorted.
-
31 RepliesI picked up and transferred D2 over to an SSD. It’s fantastic. I can open my inventory, check Pursuits and be back in the fight in under 5 seconds. Even flying to the tower from a destination is maybe 15-20 seconds now.
-
They did promise to fix it. I have a one x and can still count slowly to ten before i am able to navigate any menu.
-
Please everytime I go to switch my armor and weapons it takes forever. Same thing when I apply shaders while flying into some activities. It's like I'm on ps3 all over again.
-
3 RepliesFunniest part is, go compare it to destiny 1. Basically everything loads faster in destiny 1, from going to the tower, to even just opening up your menu, it is all noticeably faster.
-
Console hardware can’t keep up. Either switch to PC or wait until next gen consoles
-
1 ReplyYeah even on an NVME I'm taking like 40 seconds to log in and actually get to orbit on 75mbps connection Not mention literally 4 minute tower load times. I think they are having issues instancing.
-
1 ReplyRight? It is much worse on console now. Menu load time is disgusting. Pretty much have to die to switch weapons in an activity.
-
You mean loading screens? Those getting fixed with next-gen systems.

1 Replythey did
by 0.04%
1 ReplySolid state drives are a beautiful thing. All of my games load way faster. I haven't complained about load times in a while. I even tried it with the Battlefront games because I remembered them having painfully long load times. It loads so fast now, I almost cried.

I think mine was better for like a day or two then it seemed to regress a bit. Overall I think it's better than it was but it still isn't great.
-
I thought I was the only one still waiting anxiously for this update
-
I though so too, but they decided to focus on what they do better than anyone, nerf weapons.

3 RepliesEdited by AendettV: 4/25/2019 10:32:36 PMSo, I tested it on both consoles (I don't own D2 on PC, or I would have tested that too) PS4 Pro and Xbox One X. Both with External HDD (not an SSD) 18 seconds to initialize the game to the splash screen. (Where you first hit A or X) PS4 Pro averaged 1:54 from launching the game to orbit. Xbox One X averaged 1:50 from launching the game to orbit. This is on a 200Mbps cable internet connection. Hardwired to each console with the console that's being tested the only thing using the internet. Bungie cant really do anything about the 18 second initialization time, so if you want to deduct 18 seconds from each time, that's fair to Bungie. Very different from my initial feeling that the Xbox was much slower. (Even though the first test I did took 2:40.32, I omitted it from the results because the others were nowhere close to that) Edit* A 1 time startup of Black Ops 4 on Xbox (since I had it on) had me ready to play in 1:00.27, and Borderlands GOTY took 0:52.78)

No they decided to nerf LH and NF xD
-
5 RepliesA little slow but minor if you compare to games that have a one minute still image between every activity. What's it like on PC? Curious.
-
1 ReplyThe D2, UI is based on Windows 98 so.....yeah.

Edited by ManBlaster: 4/26/2019 11:09:54 AMGAMBIT. Gambit feels like you're trying to sprint through a muddy swamp of physical framerate... But yeah when you open that menu its SLOW as a glacier. Played D1 this week and holy ball sackage, Its SOOOO much faster

Switching from Ps4 to PC is a blessing and a curse. Sometimes you’ll get the SSD speeds and some days its like AOL dial-up
-
I want this sooo bad...

Not a client issue bud.

Destiny 3.
