The problem is that there is only so much that can fit in a game. I’d rather we have new content in this game, and if I get nostalgic I can always back to D1, since there is still a (albeit small) fairly active community.

  • Be that as it may, I just think it's a cheap and effective way to prolong the life-cycle of D2 and give them as developers and publishers more time to get things done right for D3. At the end of the day, we'd get double the D2 content, exotics, quests etc, for next to no effort (when compared to scratch building assets) and a very low cost solution to an ongoing problem eg; running out of things to do at the end of a DLC cycle.
