The biggest issue woth cores (besides them being necessary for infusion which is assinine) is they don't provide any impact to the game. They aren't impactful. Masterwork perks are barely, if at all, noticeable. The armor perks are garbage and are not percievable. The weapon perks are barely percievable and dont have any impact on player experience. So. Cores are a rare commodity that is useless and lacks impact. Thus, Bungie's reasoning is faulty. Thus, they should be removed. OR. Make masterwork perks percievable. Either way, remove cores from infusion.

  • Not sure the word perceivable is the correct one for what you are trying to convey 🤦‍♂️

  • Perceivable is the exact word for what I am attempting to convey.

  • “Attempting” being the key word. Whilst most people reading your post will understand what you wanted to convey the word chosen to do so is wrong none the less. Either way, I don’t perceive you understanding this fact 😂

  • Actually the word is both grammatically correct and well used. Sad day when a guardian such as yourself has such poor command of simple language.

  • Are you talking to yourself here? Grammatically correct maybe but used in the wrong context of the point. Sorry, it is what it is.

  • The armor perks I can't perseive, but the masterwork weapon making kills bleed orbs is pretty noticable.

  • The orbs, yes, the perks? Not noticeable.

  • Weird I have several armor sets that are masterworked that I use, and I notice elemental damage on one over the other, but it is not as noticeable as a he weapons masterwork perks, which can make a pretty big difference. If you don’t see the utility of masterworking, then don’t. You will have more masterwork cores to save for leveling gear you like.

Stop trying to make rational sense out of Bungie ‘s empty buzzwords. You’ll just give yourself a migraine. Seriously.
