He started the break by in turn leaving the prison. He didn’t leave? Cayde still would be alive. And we wouldn’t have a ton of scorn around the shore. I wish this conversation to be over. I have had enough arguments for a week.

Edited by red_devil_9909: 4/19/2019 1:55:58 PMOk, he didn't know cyade was gonna come and get his ghost shot and he didn't even let the scorn out. The scorn escaped with the subsequent explosions in the prison, Petra even says the explosions knocked out power to the lower levels which is where the scorn was. So variks didn't even want the scorn out cause he knew they was a threat, he just let out the top levels (like fallen and cabal) out cause they are weak enemies that would be that much of a threat but enough trouble to let him leave
