Megadue has been continually trolling the forums for a long time. Basically if the forums are asking for something, he’s posting one or two word responses that directly contradict or annoy. Enhancement cores are the big one, but he’s defended things such as the Return to Ada-1 quest step and not being able to enter a Forge from orbit. Pointless steps that merely extend playtime for no reason, yet he insists that it’s “part of the grind” and anyone who wants to see it gone is a “casual” Defends Eververse, direct purchase only, removal of Prismatic Matrix, etc. Claims that Bungie is rightfully making a profit, yet ignores he fact that if they kept their initial 14m playerbase they’d be raking in cash without any of these problems. Claims all this and calls people casuals, yet has an entirely hidden and locked account. No stats, no inspecting, nothing. Invalidates his opinion if you ask me. Can’t be heavily vocal on these forums if you don’t have the playtime and experience to back it up.

The only trolls are those that spread hate and try to suppress other arguments in a debate instead of having a discussion.

I am aware both of the meaning and my statement. It seems as though the only time he comments is to state the exact opposite of the original poster. To the point where sometimes it seems as though he is only disagreeing just to argue. I mean it just doesn’t make sense to me why someone would be verbally opposed to something like a player asking that the Revelry ornaments remain after the event is over, ya know?

I get that. And I wouldn’t utilize it unless I meant it. I mean there’s absolutely zero reason why someone would argue for the Return to Ada-1 step to not be removed. But he’s argued for it to stay. Claimed that removing it would be “having the game play itself” Claims to play as a hardcore and is openly opposed to casuals and any idea they may have. And yet his characters, play time, and statistics are all hidden, something you have to go out of your way to hide. Most hardcores like myself (~1700 hours in D2) keep our stats and profiles open to show what we’ve dedicated and accomplished in the game and back up what we say. Megadue is just a name.
