Would it kill you to at least explain why you think so?

Let’s see: Their supers are unavoidable. You see a hammer, a nova bomb, thrown sentinel shield, an active stormcaller, or a fist of havoc, you have a small yet POSSIBLE chance to avoid it. Golden Gun, Blade Barrage, Tether? NO CHANCE. Projectile melees that can do precision damage and doing precision damage instantly recharges it. A subclass that gives enhanced radar. Can turn invisible. Has a super That not only kills in a single hit, but can also make them invisible and damn near un-killable. They have 2 exotics that more or less instantly recharge their supers, right after using it. They have a class ability that allows them to dodge AND reload their weapon and/or recharge their melee. Anything else I should mention?

  • Okay, I like how you mentioned hammers and sentinel shields, both of which require little to no aim for kills. Hammer can land 10 feet to your right, and the explosion will split off and hit you regardless. Sentinels can throw their shield at a random wall, it’ll ricochet halfway across the map and insta-kill someone by tapping a single pixel on their foot as they jump above the shield. And Nova Bomb? It can explode 50 yards away and still kill you. You can be hiding behind a massive block of cover, the bomb will hit the cover, and you’ll end up dead on the opposite side, rendering cover absolutely useless against Nova. With the buffs that Stormcaller just got (was actually needed tbh) their lightning kills much, MUCH faster now. You’d have to be like halfway across the map in order to have a chance at escaping their lighting. Otherwise you’re screwed once they get close enough, 2 seconds then zap. And Fist of Panic? Again, if you’re close by then there’s no escape, you’re done. If you’re far away, then maybe there’s a chance, but then again, infinite shoulder charges in super means that Titan will get to you very fast. Now Golden Gun? I’m honestly surprised that there’s actually people who think Golden Gun is OP. It really isn’t, literally just wait it out, it’s the shortest roaming super in the game. Yes it’s true that it’s got insane range, but you know what else? Golden Gun is the only super with no damage resistance whatsoever. If you’re quick enough then just murder the Hunter before they can pull off a shot. You have way more than a chance to kill a Goldie, far from one of the most meta supers in the game. Blade Barrage? I’d partially agree with you, but ever since the slight nerf, I’d say it’s more 50/50. Many times, you’ll end up dead even when you’ve moved behind cover. Some times you won’t. I’ve honestly thrown my fair share of BBs where it looked like it was gonna get the kill, but then somehow it turns out that the target survived. It’s a little strange, but then again, I guess it’s not as much as a “press button, instant win” as it used to. Now Tether...I don’t even know why this is an issue. Literally this super is not PvP viable at all. Mayhem is the only time you’ll see tethers, because with the short super cooldowns, this is the only time they can shine. Only one week of fun, then they go back to the normal super meta. Even in Mayhem, tethers still take eons to activate and suppress targets (meanwhile, a Titan suppressor grenade activates instantly), more than enough time for an enemy to run straight past a tether and beyond its range. Even pre-buff Nova Warp was a better super than tether when it comes to PvP. And don’t forget that you can simply SHOOT the tether and it’s gone. Spectral is the only thing I’ll agree with you on, because I really hate that super too. Damage resistance is absolutely insane. Okay, exotics that give back super energy? What about it? Warlocks have an exotic that gives instant Novas. Titans have one that gives energy back for enemies simply shooting their shield. Now dodge? Yes, dodge can give an insta reload or melee charge, but you wanna know the irony of all that? It actually doesn’t dodge anything. I’ve been witness to this reality since D2 launched. Also, just calm down. It’s Mayhem, everything gets ranked up to 11 in Mayhem, it’s all about super spam so don’t get mad when you see someone spamming supers. That’s the purpose of the mode. They even needed shards a while back because of mayhem, and it’s still doing the same thing. You wanna know the side effect of that nerf? Shards are now horribly inconsistent in PvE. Dire Ahamkara gives back full super from a big group of adds, but with Shards? Maybe like 20, 30% energy back on occasion. The super regain is just so random now in PvE.

  • I think hes complaining about mayhem based off his game history. Probably got butthurt by blade barrage and shards.

  • Oh...well, I guess that’s sort of understandable. Then again, everyone in Mayhem is kinda OP. Stormcallers are especially dangerous recently.
