What armor sets in the last few seasons have you liked and disliked. I really love the Forge and Gambit Prime sets. We have given feedback that a lot of players preferred the Wolf/Knight aesthetic for Iron Banner sets as well as how much everyone loved the glowing raid ornaments.

I do like the Gambit Prime armor, I like very few other armor sets. I feel like D1 had so many differing styles, and more elegance. This game, literally looks like I took a garbage bag and attatched it to cloth. I main a Warlock, and basically almost every chest armor has been hideous besides the new eververse and select other few. I also feel like my character looks too scrawny in the chest armor, whereas in D1, it was more proportioned.

Take the glow away from the gambit armor and it is just another hideous set
-
True. I like the pattern of it. The titan armor is atrocious. The Warlock isn't too bad. I'm indifferent to the Hunter's.
-
Be constructive please. Fire those that create Destiny 2 armor and bring back the ones that made Destiny 1 armor.

Marty didn’t die for this.

Quit asking us. We aren't doing your work for you. How about you hire creative people like you had in Destiny 1, and fire the ones whom don't give a damn.
-
They have to ask us. If the majority of the player base doesn't like the armor, but the artist loves it, how are they supposed to know without our feedback

Edited by Facelauss: 3/27/2019 1:41:16 AMIn my opinion Warlock: LastWish helm, Dreaming city set, D1 reskins. Most legs/class items look fine. Titan: LastWish Helm/legs, forge chest, IB chest/gauntlets (last season and this season) this seasons helm. Most class items are fine. Hunter: LastWish set, scourge set, IB gauntlets (last & currently season). Most class items are fine. Gambit/vanguard/crucible sets are universally terrible looking in my opinion.

The SotD Reckoning and Iron Banner armor is not striking the level of distinctiveness that make for the truly great sets. Rise of Iron metal and wood and fur gear (and bring back Saladin's Vigil while we're at it). Trials of Osiris gear modeled on egyptian mythology. Tanik's Clock. Mongrel Ogre Grasps. Space-David-Bowie FWC warlock gear from D2 Y1. Those are the sets that look amazing. Sets that create a distinct feeling of being the space zombie superheroes of the world you've all built. I get the IB has a sort of serpent motif, but the armor is not creating a look the way the samurai themed sets did. It is too subtle and too subdued. The personality of this IB set, and the Reckoning sets, do not rise to the level of distinction and style that really sets guardians apart and allows us to express our characters.

Personally I think the gambit prime armor is amazing
-
For some reason to me the titan armor looks a like Master Chief's, which makes me think, soldier (cool soldier but still, soldier). Not space superhero. Also the warlock coat just reminds me of the edgelords from my hometown who wore their giant black dusters to the county fair in the middle of july. ITS JULY, TAKE OFF THE COAT!

Out of all of Destiny 2 I have only liked three Armor sets. I am a Titan main so they are all Titan sets. The Shelter in Place Suit from the Vanguard, the Froststrike Suit from the most recent Dawning, and the Sunbreak Suit which is from Eververse right now and it kinda looks like taken king gear. Frankly I want the Pariah gear from trials of Osiris back. I never took that gear off after I got it. It was and is still my favorite. And to be totally honest you guys should have let us D1 players keep our gear. If some new player who only played D2 saw our gear and wanted it well tough. They should have played D1 like the rest of us.

Maybe all armor could be rerolled with perks at Ada-1. I like yr 1 edz Hunter armor. But with no perks, why wear it?
-
But be careful she may give you the same perks 4 weeks in a row
-
As much as i like the new armor sets the only problem is there is only 3 total across all classes there would be 9 but they are all reskins of the first set. i liked the riverie dawn armor as it made the titan look nice and not like a fat guy with melted plastic on him The leviathan raid set what the same way then EOW and SOS where these giant beetle suits make some bulkier hunter sets and make some slimmer titan sets. Make nightfall specific class armor that looks really clean and not super bulky or mabye more stuff like escalation protocal where you had to grind for it and couldnt just get it all at once. Thats my personal opinion. I dont mind grinding for things like that when they look nice or have decent asthetics just dont make it some rabit hole super quest like the goffannon forge unlock. Long post shortend. Make nice looking armor set that dont look fat and add a NEW way to grind for them dont make it a quest just make it like the EP armor exept make it look cool and nice.

Trails gear year 1 d2 still wearing it!
-
Can y’all just remaster destiny 1 for pc, Xbox, and PlayStation crossplay with all of the dlc and keep adding onto that game
-
The bigger problem than them looking good or not is that too much of it is left behind. Why can’t rare armor have an upgrade path to make legendary, kinda like D1 gear had? We should also be able to buy old sets from the destination vendors that either have random rolls from current perks each purchase or I don’t know, maybe their stock like rotates on reset.
-
D1 never had the ability to upgrade rare items to legendary.
-
What I meant was how we had to use the armor to access the upgrades. If we could do that with blues to level them up it would add some variety.
-
I have to agree. Destiny 2 armor for every set are awful in terms of design. Destiny had much better armor. For Warlock you had Trials, Titan Sunbreaker or something, Hunter Kings Fall etc Bring back Destiny armor and make them better or hire better artist.

Edited by Reznyk: 3/26/2019 11:21:48 PMEp armor was awesome! Season 2 pvp (glowing ornaments) was sweet. D1 IB Hunter Darth Revan Helmet!!!!!!!!

I think the glowing concept for prime was really good, but reusing the same armor sets from gambit that we’ve had since September was a mistake. From my semi-casual position I see no reason to play reckoning outside of the chance at weapon drops and frankly they don’t drop enough to make me want to deal with that mode at all. A distinct lack of new armors is a huge problem. I love the warlock chest plate for the forge but I only received that a week or so ago, long after Black Armory’s prime.

Edited by SirHeadPoppington: 3/26/2019 10:33:01 PMForge and gambit prime sets are awesome, season 4 eververse sets were too. The season 1 titan set was the coolest iron banner set ever.
