I agree that armor in Destiny 1 looks better, but to be honest it wasn't much better. The character models, especially the difference between genders, were much better. Destiny 2 is just unnecessarily chunky with lazy model design.

So true. My female Hunter was a babe in D1. Now she looks like Duke Nukem. I don't mean that in a sexist way, he said, but the quality of both male and female characters is much more primitive in D2. I also noticed that her dance is less fluid in D2. Not that I noticed her fluidity in D1, being a modern feminist guy and all. She just happened to be dancing, accidentally, and it would have been rude not to watch.
